Aside from Joe and David, Crane’s has lots of friendly, knowledgeable help around the store. Carhartt clothing is a specialty of Crane’s and all staff members are well-versed in this line as well. Our staff can hand hold Filson customers and assist in large corporate purchases. Multi-tasking is a must at Cranes. The laid back atmosphere is deceiving. It's like having supper with a large family, everyone talking at once. You have to get the sandwich order, answer the phone, get the local that is walking out that says write me down, and answer the other people that may need boots or jeans, or more. Here are the people who handle it all:
Shanellen
Shanellen is life-long resident of Williamsburg and has worked at Crane's for three and a half years. She graduated this May from North Callaway High School and plans to work for awhile before starting college. She enjoys hanging out at her family's condo in The Lake of the Ozarks and going shopping. She really likes doing behind the scene stuff at Crane's like typing orders, updating paperwork, texting, and other necessary jobs.
Chuck
Chuck has worked at the Store for at least a million years. He can help a brother out in all things Surefire and Case Knives, along with all the other products at the store. He also just became a grandpa.

Shirley
Shirley has been with us at the store since 2001. Chuck's mom helps keep the store straight and assists customers in finding everything they need, and don't need.
Carolyn

Grant
Grant has been with Crane's for over three years and he loves messing with Filson luggage. He is currently a student at Westminster College and an outdoor enthusiast.
David
David has been back in Williamsburg since 1996 and been the owner since 1998. Fluent in all things Carhartt, Filson, Dickies, Key and all. Pictured with his sons on a trip to Lake Michigan with them and his wife. You can contact David -

Jordan
Jordan has worked at the store for two years. She is currently a junior at Mizzou and is scared that she may have to grow up someday. While on the clock Jordan can be found making mustard masterpieces on sandwiches. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cheering for the Cardinals and hanging out at the store.
Jake has worked at the store one year. He is currently a junior at North Callaway High School, where he plays football & baseball for the Thunderbirds. While at work Jake enjoys throwing feed sacks.
Joe Crane has been retired (quit) from the school business since the early 90's and has been in the store ever since. He helps keep everyone in line, make sandwiches, sweep, and is the knowledge manager. For the past four years, Joe and his wife Marlene opened Cranes Museum next door to the store.
Dragon the Dungeon Master is the architect of the cybernetic world of Crane's. Ever present, ever watchful yet seldom seen. He's the guy with the funny hats. You can contract Dragon-
